Arc Goddy Jidenma was very passionate about public speaking. He spent time practicing and improving on his ability to speak in Public. He was fascinated by the oratorical skills of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Mr Bill Clinton and Chief Bola Ige. He was a self-acclaimed student of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe both in terms of speech preparations and actual delivery. He was happy to have met Zik and was highly motivated to organize a successful ceremony of Tributes for the great sage under the aegis of Aka-Ikenga in 1996. He looked forward to meeting and possibly collaborating with Bill Clinton, a man he very much admired, but was not to be. GoddyJidenma Foundation believes that there is a lacuna in our society in the area of public speaking. This is visible where individuals of great intellect have difficulty with oratorical delivery in public arena.

Most of these skills can be acquired with apt systemic programmes put in place. Goddy Jidenma Foundation hopes to achieve this through rhetorical programmes, encouraging literary and Debating Societies in Schools, organizing speech seminars, communication workshops and instituting prizes to encourage College Valedictorians, among others.
